Results are listed alphabetically. There is no price ranking: prices in different currencies and bases (per day, per course, per year, per instalment) are not comparable. Courses for teens and children appear only when you choose a youth audience. Online programs are never counted as physically located in a state or city. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change recognition status, verification or order.
Dutch beauty training combines publicly recognised mbo programmes (level 2 to 4, for example hairdressing and beautician programmes) with private academies. Private schools such as the Nederlandse Kappersakademie state that their day programmes are recognised by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and lead to an mbo diploma, while their evening and short courses and many beautician or make-up courses end in a school diploma. Private providers also register in the CRKBO register of short vocational education.
Names and levels are local to Netherlands. Similar names in other countries are not interchangeable.
Teaching languages. Courses found are taught in Dutch; De Nederlandse Beauty School adds that its practice workbook and theory exams are available in Dutch, Farsi, Turkish and partly Arabic. No fully English-taught course was verified in this pass (Art of Colors publishes an English-language site, but its teaching language is not stated on the course page).
Licensing and regulation. The Dutch education-recognition body SBB lists the schoonheidsspecialist programme among regulated education programmes on its diploma-assessment page; this research pass did not establish a personal licence requirement for practising, so none is stated. Source
