Results are listed alphabetically. There is no price ranking: prices in different currencies and bases (per day, per course, per year, per instalment) are not comparable. Courses for teens and children appear only when you choose a youth audience. Online programs are never counted as physically located in a state or city. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change recognition status, verification or order.
Beauty training in Italy is organised regionally. In Lombardy the foundation Clerici runs a three-year regional qualification (EQF level III) in esthetics or hairdressing, followed by a fourth-year diploma (EQF level IV). In Lazio, schools accredited or authorised by the Region run estetista, hairdresser and nail technician courses; for example a two-year esthetics course ending in the qualification Operatore delle cure estetiche plus a third specialisation year, and a hairdresser course of 1,800 hours. Private academies also issue their own attestati for short courses.
Names and levels are local to Italy. Similar names in other countries are not interchangeable.
Teaching languages. Courses are taught in Italian; none of the providers researched publishes courses in another teaching language.
Licensing and regulation. Practising and opening a salon depend on regional qualification rules, which differ between regions; the providers researched describe regionally approved courses and, in the case of hairdressing, a 500-hour specialisation for independent salon owners. This reflects provider statements and a Regione Lazio accreditation document, not a full review of national and regional law. Source
