Results are listed alphabetically. There is no price ranking: prices in different currencies and bases (per day, per course, per year, per instalment) are not comparable. Courses for teens and children appear only when you choose a youth audience. Online programs are never counted as physically located in a state or city. Items marked Sponsored are paid placements; they never change recognition status, verification or order.

About beauty training and licensing in France

How beauty training is organised

Beauty training in France runs on national State diplomas registered at the RNCP, mainly the CAP Esthétique Cosmétique Parfumerie (level 3, two years, often by apprenticeship at chamber-of-trades centres or private schools) followed by the Brevet Professionnel (level 4). Private schools also issue their own certificates, and some, such as ITM Paris, have a title registered at the RNCP in the school's name. Adults who already hold a diploma can follow shortened ten-month CAP routes.

Languages and licensing

Teaching languages. Courses are taught in French; none of the providers researched publishes courses in another teaching language.

Licensing and regulation. Permanent make-up (dermopigmentation) is framed by decree no. 2008-149 of 19 February 2008 and requires a hygiene and sanitation training that providers must declare to the ARS; the other beauty trades are taught through diplomas and certificates. This summary reflects provider statements, not an authority page, and has not been checked against the legal text. Source
